I feel both calm and sad, sad to announce that I am officially retiring my amazing metallic floors. During the seven years that I dedicated to
Metallics only, I came up with and created a very unique style.
It is an honor for me to have been the one who created the metallic movement and to have come up with a unique three dimensional look process.
To this day I still have not seen anybody able to copy the look I worked so hard to create and which remains my proprietary style.
While metallic floors are stunning and unique, the bottom line is they are problematic to install. One difficulty is that in order to create the
look I have created you have to use 100% solid epoxy which is not UVR protected. In addition, it scratches extremely easily. And then my biggest
nightmare on every single installation was outgassing.
I became a global metallic specialist and have written over 15 global articles. Because of my expertise and knowledge in metallics, I would
highly recommend you stick to a polyaspartic flake floor. The beauty of polyaspartic is that it is 100% UVR protected, does not scratch like epoxy and the
maintenance on these floors is extremely simple - mop when dirty. For the most part there is no upkeep as polyaspartic will keep its shine and
will look new in years to come.
The following pictures are of my Metallic work over the years - which now I have stopped doing.
